Special thanks to several of our outstanding graduates like Ms. Barbara Thomas, Owner of Pamper Me Baby Salon located at 10230 Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge, LA 70816, who frequently come back to encourage students with their testimony about their experiences at Camelot and how it was instrumental in shaping their career. Other graduates recently serving as guest speakers are Ms. Dariana Jefferson, currently employed at the Baton Rouge General Regional Medical Center, and Ms JoAnn Evers, currently employed with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
What a great time we had in the Medical Terminology class, during a game of BINGO!!! The freshman students used medical terms in a fun and interesting game to further enhance their understanding of medical terms. Special thanks to the student body, staff and instructors for their participation. Mrs. Josette Williams, the instructor, stated that this will possibly be an annual event!
Another successful Health Fair hosted by Ms. Winfield and her outstanding home room class that operated under the theme of “Winfield’s Care Clinic.” Ms. Melinda Rainey and Ms. Alexis Riley performed blood pressures and EKGs. Ms. Temicka Scott and Ms. Towana Douglas conducted cholesterol checks. Ms. Pamela Daigre took care of glucose testing and Ms. Nikita Gasper measured height and weight. Last but not least, Ms. Sierra Davis worked on Ophthalmology and vision screenings. Congratulations on a superb Health Fair!
